Welcome to Gillette

FOXBOROUGH -- Welcome to Gillette Stadium, where the Patriots host the Dolphins today (1 p.m.).

It is a glorious day in New England, with temperatures currently in the low 60s. Temps are expected to rise to the low 70s by kickoff. Winds are light, and no precipitation is expected, so elements should not be much of a factor today.

Bill Carollo is scheduled to referee today's game.

The Patriots will conclude the inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Weekend today with a halftime ceremony. At that time, Patriots Hall of Famers Nick Buoniconti, Gino Cappelletti, Ben Coates, Steve Grogan, John Hannah, Mike Haynes, Stanley Morgan, Steve Nelson, Babe Parilli and Andre Tippett will be honored. The late Bob Dee will be represented by his son, Bob Dee Jr., and the late Jim Lee Hunt will be represented by his wife, Rosa Hunt.

Scouts from the 49ers and Chargers are expected to be in attendance today. Those are the Patriots' next two opponents -- Oct. 5 (49ers) and Oct. 12 (Chargers). The Chargers also visit the Dolphins Oct. 5.

The plan will be to file updates throughout the day.

  1. Bledsoe? That was my first thought. Call off the retirement Drew! Even Trent Dilfer stated on ESPN he would be ready in 10 days at first hearing of TFB's ACL.
