A note on the Patriots wearing white jerseys at home, from the team's crack media relations staff:
The Patriots are wearing white jerseys at home for the first time since Oct. 2, 1994, according to John Hendry, the team's stats crew chief. Hendry is in his 29th season as a member of the Patriots' gameday stats crew and is in his 23rd year as crew chief. On Oct. 2, 1994 against the Green Bay Packers, the Patriots donned their white throwback jerseys in a 17-16 win at Foxboro Stadium. New England wore throwbacks in that game as part of a league-wide initiative in recognition of the NFL's 75th anniversary season.
