FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are wearing their white uniforms today, instead of their traditional home blue jerseys.

The Chiefs are in their red jerseys with white pants.

It's possible that coach Bill Belichick had the heat in mind when making the decision to wear the whites.

  1. whats the GU stand for?

    Forsberg's response

All the teams are wearing patches in memory of Gene Upshaw, the Hall of Fame guard and longtime executive director of the Players Association who passed away recently.

There's also a circular logo at midfield in honor of Upshaw.
