7 absent for start of practice
FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are practicing today for the first time since Sunday night's 30-10 loss to the Chargers and seven players were not spotted for the media-access portion of the session, colleague Christopher L. Gasper reports.
The seven players are:
Also, receiver Maurice Price was present at practice -- as he's been signed to the practice squad. Price had been released from the 53-man roster on Saturday to make room for RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
Members of the media were present for stretching and some positional drills.

Chalk this week up for another massive defeat. Too bad Shannon Sharpe isn't around b/c he'd be able to call the National Guard. I'm sure it won't be too easy for the Broncos to kill the Patriots. The Broncos defense is pretty porous but the Pats offense won't have enough to exploit it. Also, if the patriots couldn't stop Malcom Floyd and Vincent Jackson, there's no way there going to stop primarily Brandon Marshall. Hate to say it but it looks like a 2nd straight defeat at Gillette is coming.
Mike,
How often would you assess that "not present at media portion" equals "not practicing"? From here they seem almost synonymous. Can you respond to that?
I know where they are...they've got their head in the sand wondering what happened in San Diego. They're embarrased just like all you looser pats fans. Maybe we should let Belicheat start filming other teams again!!!
Mr. patssuckjets,
Your time would be better spent learning how to spell, than posting on a Patriots blog.
