Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff October 12, 2008 08:46 PM

Malcolm Floyd caught a 49-yard touchdown pass from Philip Rivers with 3:58 left in the first quarter, giving the Chargers a 10-0 lead. Deltha O'Neal was in coverage.

The Patriots had a chance to tie the score at 3 on their opening possession, but the drive stalled on the ninth play. On the 10th play, kicker Stephen Gostkowski missed his first field goal of the season -- a 48-yarder.

  1. I've seen enough, Matt Casell needs to have a seat and bring in Gutierez or O"Connell. Overthrowing, throwing behind receivers,

  1. Looking good pats. How bout that secondary? They are awesome! OīNeal is one great defender. Hang in ther pat fans, iīm sure your running game will keep cassel out of trouble. Oops, forgot you have no running game. Well at least cassel can get some deep balls to moss. Oops again, you donīt have an offensive line and cassel canīt throw deep balls. Well, Iīm sure your defense can presssure Rivers, well, thatīs not true either. Your front line defense canīt pressure quarterbacks. What about special teams? I suppose not, they are near the bottom in kickoff and punt coverage and Slater will never be confused with Hester. If all else fails, pat fans you have the great scheming defensive mind of BB.
