Dungy: Addai & Sanders should be ready

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff October 29, 2008 12:22 PM

Colts head coach Tony Dungy held a conference call with New England reporters today and was asked about the injury status of running back Joseph Addai and safety Bob Sanders.

Dungy indicated that both Addai and Sanders are expected to practice today, and that as long as there are no setbacks this week, they should be ready to play Sunday against the Patriots.

Dungy put injured cornerback Kelvin Hayden in the same category.

  1. Tony Dungy should add that his own official crew is ready as well. I can say for sure that there will be AT LEAST 2 B.S. Passing Interference calls on Ellis Hobbs and O'neal EACH come Sunday Night.

  1. of course haha .... When Sanders went down in week # 3 or whenever, I just laughed and said he will be back for the Pats game, some 6 weeks later

This is because ... Teams always get up to play the Patriots and they get their best shot because of all they accomplished since 2001 and thats fine.

Addai is back too ... bonus ! Hope the Pats beat them when they are playing with a full deck

Winning in Indy, on a Sunday Night is going to be tough ... Colts are already 4 games back in the division and are in big trouble

  1. Oh, I better watch what I say or Vince Wilfork will poke me in the eye....thug...I bet he sits around with Albert Haynesworth (yeah, the one who stepped on a players' head after pulling the guys helmet off) and snorts coke off a strippers' arse.

  1. INDY always gets calls there way. The refs LOVE DUNGY. Dungy probably all gives them a reach-around. GOMER MANNING & Crew welcome the Pats!

  1. I don't have a good feeling about this game at all. Indy is finally healthy and if they lose, their playoff chances are almost shot. Hopefully Manning is off like he's been all year.

  1. I think Addai and/or Sanders will get hurt again. i think they are pushing themselves to play against the Pats and they might not be as productive. Plus Addai is like glass Maroney - couple of hits and he is out of the game. I dont know how including Bob Sanders will give them that much of a boost in Defense though...I really hope the Pats put a fork in Indy sunday night.
