Flu for Thomas
Patriots TE David Thomas was held out of today's practice with flu-like symptoms, according to the team's participation report.
Here is the full report, as well as the Chargers' report:

Don't they make these guys get Flu Shots?????
Wow those are all key injuries for the chargers, im sure they will all play but still if those guys are injured this could be a great game for the pats to get a win and help them get a better second round pick too haha
Interesting that Gost's leg is sore--maybe with all the booming kicks lately, its too strong for his own good...
And Syd, flu shots aren't perfect... its luck of the draw whether the shot covers what you are exposed to or not. I think that having both TE's healthy last game had a good effect. Hopefully he'll be ready to go.
Likely not the flu. Most incidents we attribute to the "flu" is really "food poisoning."
And just like the influenza virus is a respiratory affliction, contaminated food is not deliberately poisoned, its an unintended result.
Traveling tip of the week - examine the tines of the fork, that's where stuff hides and sometimes makes you sick. One needs to take care when visiting cities of the developing world cities; you know, San Jose.
