Jordan practices again

Posted by Christopher L. Gasper, Globe Staff October 31, 2008 12:34 PM

FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are holding their afternoon practice on the upper fields behind Gillette Stadium, as they prepare for Sunday's game with the Indianapolis Colts.

The good news is that running back LaMont Jordan was present for the media portion of practice, which included stretching, kickoff coverage/return and positional drills. That means Jordan, who has missed the last three games with a right calf injury, has been at practice all three days this week and could return against the Colts.

Cornerback Ellis Hobbs (shoulder) was also at practice for the second straight day.

Three players were missing from practice and haven't practiced yet this week:
CB Lewis Sanders (hamstring)
RB Sammy Morris (knee)
LB Shawn Crable (shin)

The Patriots were in shells (light shoulder pads) and shorts or sweatpants for the session. That marks the second straight week the team has not practiced in full pads.

  1. Whoopie,
Three week after his injury, that the day after BB (who says nothing) said "He's a quick healer."
He won't be a contributor in this game, if any. He already got his pay day.
