Knee injury for Light
Patriots left tackle Matt Light did not participate in today's practice due to a knee injury, according to the team's participation report. Light went wire to wire in Sunday's loss to the Chargers.
A look at the complete report:
Did Not Participate in Practice
LB Eric Alexander (hamstring)
DE Jarvis Green (right ankle)
RB LaMont Jordan (right calf)
LT Matt Light (knee)
RT Nick Kaczur (right ankle)
RB Laurence Maroney (shoulder)
WR Kelley Washington (right ankle)

Mike, with Washington's ankle lingering, do you see him going on IR to allow one of the OL to return from the PUP list soon? I don't know that Kelly has played often, if at all this season so far..
I'm all set with Maroney. It's offical, he's a bust! His teammates should put the diapers back in his locker.
With the Maroney saga - yes it has reached that level - his one debilitating issue is how he observes holes in the line. Just like a young QB not recognizing an open receiving route as it develops I think he has a hard time when the hole isn't already there. However, when it is he is magestic and powerful. Maybe this is something that just won't happen, maybe Morris becomes our number one but Maroney clearly has talent and we can benefit from it somewhere.
