Patriots injury report

The Patriots released their Friday injury report:

Doubtful
LB Eric Alexander (hamstring)
DE Jarvis Green (right ankle)
RB LaMont Jordan (right calf)
OT Nick Kaczur (right ankle)
RB Laurence Maroney (shoulder)
WR Kelley Washington (right ankle)
CB Jonathan Wilhite (flu-like symptoms)

None of those players participated in today's practice.

  1. There's a lot of guys on the doubtful list. I think 1 or 2 will suit up. I'm hoping Lamont Jordan is good enough to play.

  1. Jarvis Green is not going to play - so much for the 4-3 era. They are going to have to get after Cutler this week w/ speed and still contain Shanahan's running game. My feeling is that they would be better served with Harrison playing a little farther off the line replacing the liability that is Bruschi. This puts Harrison, Meriweather and Sanders on the field at once. If the three guys up front concentrate exclusively as run stoppers this could be accomplished with a 3-3-5.

  1. I would also like to see Benjarvis Green-Ellis get some carries on Monday. I have heard he is a very hard nosed runner. I also read that he never had a turnover in college.
