Practice report

FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are practicing on the upper field behind Gillette Stadium as they continue preparations for the San Francisco 49ers. Three players were not sited during the media portion of practice, which had players in shells (light shoulder pads) and shorts or sweatpants.

The missing were wide receiver Kelley Washington (right ankle), linebacker Eric Alexander (hamstring) and cornerback Lewis Sanders (hamstring). All three players were on the Patriots participation report on Wednesday, listed as having not practiced.
