Previewing Sunday's Patriots-49ers matchup, the Globe's Mike Reiss says that San Francisco's high-risk, high-reward style could leave plenty of opportunities for the Patriots to put up points. He also puts the spotlight on San Francisco's Justin Smith, a marquee free-agent signing who wreaks havoc as a defensive end.
