Another bounce back?

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff November 17, 2008 02:43 PM

The Patriots, coming off a 34-31 overtime loss to the Jets, hope to continue their bounce-back ways this Sunday in Miami.

Since the beginning of the 2003 season, the team is 16-1 (.941) in games following a loss.

Over the last five seasons, the only time the Patriots lost two in a row came in 2006, when the team dropped a 27-20 decision to the Colts on Nov. 5 and then lost 17-14 to the Jets on Nov. 12.

  1. This is a MUST WIN game. Can not lose another game in the division.

Hope to see healthy Sammy Morris back in the line-up to go along with BJGE and lets see some solid defence, with getting OFF the field on 3rd downs ...

  1. Based on Belickeck's comments, if they Dolphins decide to run the "wildcat", I say they go and put some serious hurt on Pennington, so they think it twice about running this play scheme!

  1. Classy comment Jules...

    Typical PatrioTARD...

I think BelliCHEAT would rather not have his players expelled from the game from blatent "unsportsmanlike conduct" penalties...

No matter what, it shoudl be a good game, both teams are surprisingly evenly matched. Who would have thought that so soon after a 1-15 season???
