Bill Belichick reaction

MIAMI -- Patriots coach Bill Belichick opened his post-game press conference with the following remarks:

"It's nice to come down to Florida and win. It certainly hasn't been a great venue for us through the years. It's good to come out on top. I thought our players stepped up and played hard today. Miami is a good football team. We definitely had our hands full. Offensively, we had a lot of good production, other than when we had some penalties and a couple miscues. I thought those guys really stayed after it and moved the ball effectively. Defensively, we were just trying to hang in there. It's a good team, and it's good to even it up with Miami this year. They got us pretty good up there, so we feel good about evening the score down here. Hard-fought, tough game. We're happy to win, and ready to move on to next week against Pittsburgh."
