Jordan & Richardson downgraded to out
The Patriots downgraded RB LaMont Jordan and CB Mike Richardson to out for Sunday's game at Miami.
Jordan has been sidelined with a calf injury, while Richardson was listed as having a concussion on the team's injury report this week. Jordan was listed as doubtful, while Richardson was questionable.
Jordan has not played since Oct. 5 in San Francisco. The Patriots figure to have Sammy Morris, Kevin Faulk, Heath Evans and BenJarvus Green-Ellis at running back on Sunday.
Richardson has been third or fourth on the cornerback depth chart in recent weeks. Veteran Lewis Sanders, who could return after missing the last four games with a hamstring injury, potentially could fill that role.

You know....I feel sorry for Jordan having to be described as having a "calf injury"...PATS are hiding his true injury for some reason...theres no way he would be out this long with a calf injury
I like the fact that Morris is completely off the list this week. That should allow a more balanced attack by the Patriots, and it will interesting to see how Morris's production compares to Green-Ellis in the same game. I think the law firm demonstrated value to the team when his number was called. How much is hard to say at this point. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out sunday (with some fingers crossed).
Here's hoping that if we do make it to the playoffs (knock on wood), Jordan manages to come back and we have a full stable of good runners again.
do we have any players left?
Jordan is not injured any more. He is an insurance policy if one of the other RB's should goes down. Listing him on the injury report is just to keep him from being a game day inactive status without loosing him to IR.
Please stop all the injury crying. The offense is missing one starter (be it the best player the NFL) and Cassel should be able to manage this unit. The defense is also missing one starter (be it the best defender, Thomas) IMO Meriweather should have been starting for Harrison by now anyway. The other missing parts are not on the team anymore, so get over it. Brady hopefully will be back next year but he’s not going to carry the team on his back like in the pass. Maroney has been a bust, I don’t see that changing and I don’t see him as starter anymore. On defense, hopefully Harrison and Bruschi call it a career.
Next year this team is going to need a number one TE, a number one RB, a number one or two WR. Right now they don’t have all of these. I won’t even make the case for TE and RB. As far WR’s Moss is currently a number one but he’s not getting any younger. Welker should be their 3rd down guy. If they had one more top wide out the passing game would be unstoppable (kind of like last year with Stallworth). The defense needs a shut down corner (kind of like Samuals last year). This defense is not going to put pressure on the QB like the Giants, so you need to cover. They do have more speed at LB now so they should be able to cover TE’s and 3rd down WR’s, it’s just to down field stuff now that’s killing them.
Hey rico, WTF?!?! Are you seriosuly suggesting that meriweather is better than Harrison?!, That Ben-jarvous Green-ellis is better than maroney?! Granted, he was a little hesitant of late, but entering four straight games with 2 healthy RB (one a FA rookie) is NOT GOOD. Youre also forgetting the injuries to Neal for the first half of the season, hobbs for several games, nearly all our O-line pickups this year- on IR, and one of the top rookies this year - Wheatly - out for the year. But what really is amusing and baffeling is your thoughts on our WRs. We need 2 new ones by next year?!?!?!?! I know Brady had a lot to do with last season (we'll get to that in a minute) but that recieving corpse had one of the best years EVER, and stallworth had absolutely NOTHING to do with it! this is, without a doubt, the best WR crew in the NFL. "Welker is a 3rd down WR." ..... no comment needed there, right?
Finally, Bradys injury, in the first game of the season, counts as 20 starters going down on any other team. What he means to this team is 3 SB, countless wins, an undefeated season, records upon records... he IS the franchise. That injury alone could've would've and should've ruined this whole year. But it didnt.
So DON'T tell me there are no significant injurys to this team.
