Light workday for Patriots

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff November 11, 2008 01:08 PM

FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are holding their afternoon practice today inside the Dana-Farber Field House and it's a walkthrough.

Walkthroughs are held at half speed, and players are without pads, instead wearing sweatpants/shorts and sweatshirts.

RB Sammy Morris was present for part of the media-access portion of the walkthrough with a brace over his left knee, although it's not a sure-fire indication that he's ready for action, as injured players are often spotted at walkthroughs.

The light practice reflects how the Patriots are on a short week, with their next game on Thursday. Today would normally be a players day off.

  1. Just a general comment on the recent changes to the bloog.

I noticed that the full posts are no longer displayed in the RSS feeds.

I realize you want to draw traffic to the site but basically this just causes me to skip reading the column all together.

    Just a reader's 2 cents.
