Practice report

Posted by Christopher L. Gasper, Globe Staff November 20, 2008 01:12 PM

FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are holding their afternoon practice inside the Dana-Farber Field House, the third consecutive day they've worked indoors in preparation for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Four players, including nose tackle Vince Wilfork, were not spotted during the media portion of practice, which is being held in shells (light shoulder pads) and shorts or sweatpants.

The good news was that cornerback Jonathan Wilhite, who did not participate in yesterday's practice due to flu-like symptoms, was back at practice.

The missing players were:

NT Vince Wilfork
RB LaMont Jordan
LB Eric Alexander
LB Adalius Thomas
