Practice report

Posted by Christopher L. Gasper, Globe Staff November 21, 2008 12:27 PM

FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are holding their afternoon practice inside the Dana-Farber Field House, as they prepare for Sunday's game with the Miami Dolphins.

Both linebacker Tedy Bruschi, who was added to the practice participation report yesterday with a knee injury and nose tackle Vince Wilfork, who had a non-injury related absence from practice yesterday, were present today for the media portion of practice, which included stretching and special teams work.

Three players were missing from the start of practice:
LB Eric Alexander
RB LaMont Jordan
LB Adalius Thomas

The Patriots were in shells (light shoulder pads) and shorts or sweatpants for the third consecutive day.

  1. I just dont understand the thinking.....Pats should already be in Miami getting climatized with the warm/hot/humdidity weather....yet as of today (Friday) they are inside Dana-Farber ? Advantage Miami.....and we all know our season is on the line Sunday....GO PATS!!

  1. Lamon Jordan should be cut or placed on IR. Why is he still on this team?

  1. The weather will be absloutely no issue. It's as cool here as it's ever been Yheres nothing that remotely feels like humidity

Nothing here, but a VERY confidant, cocky Dolphin team..and some pretty dumb fans.

  1. It is anything but warm/hot and/or humid down here. Today's it was 76 at 2 PM when I ran to the bank with very little humidity and it's been cool (low 50's) in the early morning, down into the 40's over night.

We've had this for just about a week and we're forecaster to have the same until Thanksgiving.

  1. i second that S Fla4Pats. the bigheadedness of phins fans is at a level not seen in many years. the weather will not be a factor. expect 60s/70s.
its unfortunate we are so banged up.

  1. Please stop all the injury crying. This team won 18 games last year, if they can’t beat a team that won 1 then they just aren’t that good! The mighty offense is missing one starter (be it the best player the NFL) and Cassel should be able to manage this unit. The defense is also missing one starter (Thosmas) IMO Meriweather should have been starting for Harrison by anyway. The other missing part are not on the team (or won’t be” Maroney”) any more, get over it.
