  1. Looks like Cassel came back down to Earth; I guess we'll keep Tom Brady. Playoff teams cannot make mistakes and the Pats made plenty of them tonight. This is probably the best thing that could have happened to the Patriots; we do not want to squeak into the playoffs and lose in the 1st round. The Pats need to rebuild their defense and especially their secondary; hopefully with better draft selections. Our red zone defense and 3rd down defense is pitiful; they somehow need to fix it for next season. I would use all picks we get in the draft for defense only!

  1. Steelers had a pass rush, the Pats didn't.

Steelers O-line could pass block, Pats couldn't

    Steelers played physical, Pats didn't

Steelers had speed on defense, Pats didn't

Steelers made the plays they needed to on offense, the Pats dropped easy passes

Steelers' QB made good throws, Cassel threw the ball too hard, to the wrong spots or simply didn't get rid of it fast enough.

Steelers are a playoff team, The Pats are not. They beat the weak and marginal teams but they lose to the good ones.

  1. A lot of talk about the great Matt Cassel the last two games. He is what he is: a first year QB in the NFL. When a first year QB faces a great "D" you saw what happens. Don't trade Mr. Brady too soon.................................
