Vinatieri on gameday program

Whether by design or not, it's former Patriots kicker Adam Vinatieri who graces the cover of today's "Scout" gameday program as New England visits Indianapolis tonight at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The cover is listed as 6 of 10 collector's editions (eight regular-season games and two preseason games) during the inaugural season at the Colts' sparkling new home.

For those wondering, Vinatieri has connected on 5 of 8 field goal attempt this season, with a long of 47 yard (he's also had a kick blocked). By comparison, Stephen Gostkowski has made 16 of 17 field goal attempts this season with a long of 49 yards.

it's now a few years later, and it still doesn't look right to see Adam in a new uniform. I won't bring myself to root for him tonight, or to help the colts win a game, but he's still a Patriot to me.
