Welcome to Gillette

FOXBOROUGH -- Welcome to Gillette Stadium, where the Patriots (5-3) host the Bills (5-3) in an AFC East clash (1 p.m.).

For a game on Nov. 9 in New England, conditions will be excellent.

It is currently 53 degrees and the temperature is expected to rise slightly by kickoff, with sunny skies above. A light wind is slightly moving the orange flags above the goal posts.

Walt Coleman is scheduled to referee today's game. Based on statistics compiled by Mike Sando of ESPN.com, Coleman's crew has assessed the fewest penalties of any crew this season (9.3 avg. per game), and also has had the second fewest replay challenges (4).

In recognition of Veteran's Day on Nov. 11, the Patriots have planned several activities to honor veterans. Two military war veterans receiving treatment at a Boston hospital will serve as honorary captains; the national anthem will be performed by Michelle Harris, a vocalist of the U.S. Air Force Band of Liberty; a team employee and veteran of World War II and the Korean War will be honored before the game; and a pre-game flyover from the Blackhawk Helicopters is scheduled.

More to come throughout the day.
