INDIANAPOLIS -- Welcome to Lucas Oil Stadium, where the Patriots visit the Colts tonight (8:15 p.m.).

This is a remarkable, large retractable-roof facility, opened this season, and located right behind the old RCA Dome. A decision on the roof -- open or closed -- will be made by 90 minutes before kickoff. It is a georgeous day here in town (currently 70 degrees).

All seats are blue here at Lucas Oil, and there are two mammoth scoreboards high above the playing field, in two of the corners. The facility has large windows high above both end zones, allowing light to shine in.

The Colts are just 1-2 at home this season, with losses to Chicago and Jacksonville. The win came over Baltimore.

The Patriots and Colts are the NFL's top teams since 2001, with New England posting a 105-31 record and Indianapolis 89-41 over that span.

The Patriots are 15-5 in their last 20 games against the Colts.

Bill Carollo is scheduled to referee tonight's game.

More to come throughout the night.
