Wheatley not at practice
FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are holding their afternoon practice on the upper fields behind Gillette Stadium, and as expected CB Terrence Wheatley (left hand/wrist) was not present for the media-access portion of practice, colleague Christopher L. Gasper reports.
Wheatley walked through the locker room earlier today when reporters were present, his left arm/hand tucked into a white Patriots jacket. He declined comment when approached by reporters.
The full list of players not present during the time in which media members were present:
The practice was held in shells (light shoulder pads) and sweatpants/shorts. The media-access portion of practice included stretching and positional drills.

Mike,
How limited is Jordan in pratice?
One thing to remember about Webster...he played for the Bills last year.....happy to hear Schobel might be out, he's Jason Taylor JR
Too bad about Wheatley, he looked good out there. Maybe he should take a self defense class that will teach him how to brace his fall with his hands and arms.
Reading between the lines its a good thing that Wheatley was not put on IR, which means he will be back. That is about all the info we will get on Wheatley until he returns to the field.
Is this injury on the same wrist that Wheatley had sugery on in college? I remeber his wrist injury was a red flag on many scouting reports before the draft.
Mike,
I'd also like to know about how limited Jordan is in pratice and more about Wheatley's injury. Is it the same hand as in college, and is he a righty or lefty?
Unfortunately, media members are only at practice for about 15 minutes, so I don't have accurate information on how limited Jordan has been.
