  1. The question is WHY????? WHY Move the games to 4pm? I really think the NFL (Vegas) will make this game up for the PATS. PATS Super Bowl Champs this year

  1. Moving the Jets/Dolphins game to 4:15 pm was clearly detrimental to the Patriots' chances . . . I agree with an earlier comment that Mike Reiss has made to the effect that all 3 games (Ravens, too) should have been played at the same time, so the questions is: Doesn't the NFL care that it has tampered with the competitive balance? Surely "they" are aware of the situation and, if so, how can they possibly publicly justify such an action?

  1. What are your thoughts on keeping Cassel and trading Brady next year. I know it might sound crazy, however, you could save some cap money and pick up some draft picks for the future. Am I crazy?

  1. Chris and Mike, What ever happern to Antwain Spann, I thought everyone thinking was he would be the third safety on the bench when Rodney went down, Look like everyone was singing his praises during pre season and look like he has even lost his rep on special teams.

  1. Why are people over-reacting to a few good games by Cassel. Brady is still the man.

  1. What a bunch of crybabies! Wah! "The NFL doesn't want the Pats to win, that's why they moved the Jets-Dolphins to 4:15!" Give me a break!

The Jets-Dolphins is one of the biggest rivalries in sports. If you think for a minute that the Jets will law-down for the Dolphins, you're crazy

  1. I don't believe it matters what order the games are played, televised. Each team knows what it has to do and will be motivated to do it, or should be! If Pats' fans fear motivation will diminish (say for the Jests) if Mangini & Co. learn of a whopping NE win, then the jests shouldn't be considered contenders anyway. All you can do is take care of your own business then watch the later outcomes. That's the way it has been decided and no use moaning over it. If the Patsies don't get in this year, so be it. Suck it up and come back next year, and then make sure you don't have to depend on anyone else!

  1. To answer the question about keeping Cassel an trading Brady to save cap space...lets ignore the fact that Brady is one of the best QB's ever, and he's still in the prime years of his career...lets ignore all that and assume Cassel is as good as Tom...Tom has taken very cap friendly deals, and he's taken them because he likes to win, and as long as he's winning, he doesn't care about his his deals are structured.

Cassel will be frachised, then traded, and the contract he'll get somewhere else will be a bigger cap hit than Brady's. The contract that a free agent QB coming off Cassel's season would command would actually be a bigger cap hit than Brady's.

  1. We can only hope the Ravens hit a speed bump. The Jets will take the pipe no matter whether they are in the hunt or not. Pennington will riddle them.

  1. Brady will probably retire as the best QB in history.. so shut up about trading him. We could send him to the Iraqi national team and he'd still beat any NFL team with Iraqi wide receivers... thats just how good he is.

Dont judge a QB by his 16 starts for christ sakes.

Cassel is still nothing compared to his starter. thats why hes the backup.
(Although i have become his fan lately. He's still a tiny little man compared to Tom Brady)

  1. nobody knows if brady will even be able to go next season, and he may never be 100percent again.how much of a mind game will his injury effect him?no cassel isnt brady of last year, but brady wasnt brady in his first year eatheir.alls cassel is doing is getting better in every game.in another year he will be stellar.

  1. I would trade Brady for two 1st round draft picks this second.

  1. Brady will be the man next year....the question is what will become of Cassel? In my opinion he will be playing elsewhere next year....with O'Connell as the backup. I would suspect Pioli will go to Detroit and take Josh with him and of course it would make sense to bring along Matt. I didn't dream this up but I wish I had....it makes sense for them and it makes sense that the pats can't afford another high priced QB who would never play. I also do not see the Jets beating Miami especially when they read the scoreboard and see us winning the early game...shitty decision for us but what can you do.

  1. Brady has never been a running q-back, so I question all those questioning if 'he'll be back"....so if his knee injury hampers his scamper....why wouldn't he do as well? It's not like he won't still be able to do the reads, the throws, and lead with respect. I am happy for the Pats this year and very happy for Cassel...he surely turned my attitude about him around. Just PLEASE NOT go to a team not in the AFC. As for a back up...I do not question the choice of KO...and he too will learn to lead, so when needed he will be ready.

  1. Time for the Pats to have their hearts broken. No jubulation for Mr. Kraft; I'm tired of seeing his blue shirt. Nice go Pats! You have exceeded expectations but it is not your time. Pats excluded, who is the best AFC team?

  1. I've been waiting for this day since December 12, 1982. On that day the cheating "patriots" used an unfair advantage to win a game against the DOLPHINS. Today the cheating "patriots" season was ended by the DOLPHINS. Maybe the cheating "patriots" can go out and find another convict to help them beat the DOLPHINS.
Hey "patriot" fans: WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!
