LaMont Jordan on what's next
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Running back LaMont Jordan was asked after the Patriots' 13-0 victory how he's approaching the next few hours, as the team hopes for help to qualify for the playoffs.
"We have to hope that Brett Favre is as great as the media makes him to be," Jordan said. "We're going to get on the plane, and hope that of the two teams we need to win, at least one of them goes out there and takes care of business. We know we're a playoff-caliber team. We had slip-ups along the way, but our job is done right now. We have to wait and see what happens, and hope for the best."
As for the Patriots' performance today, Jordan had a feeling his number was going to be called often today.
"I knew once we got here, and the wind was blowing and the goal-posts were tilted sideways, that it was going to be another [running] game," he said.
Jordan took pride in performing well in the conditions.
"This isn't baseball, they're not going to cancel the game because it's raining or snowing. We're not going to cancel the game because of wind," he said. "I guess that's why it's called the gridiron. We're going out there to get it done, no matter what the conditions are -- unless it's lightning -- we're going to play football and we've done that the last four weeks."

Great, great comment by Jordan on that scumbag Favre. Sorry if that offends anyone but there is no other way to put it.
He had lost any respect I had for him when he commented, a few years ago, that it wasnt his responsibility to train, and 'teach Aaron Rodgers, the rookie QB.
The piece of crap should have retired 3 years ago.
I hope Jordan is coming back next year...I'd much rather see him in a Patriot uniform than maroney
Funny this comes from LaMont Jordan, who hasn't done anything since he left the Jets...I guess it isn't so easy when the majority of your carries aren't coming in the 2nd half after Curtis Martin wears down the defense for you, is it?
