Patriots & Pro Bowl
A look at Patriots players who are in the top 5 of their respective positions in fan voting for the Pro Bowl at this time (fan voting accounts for one-third of the process; coaches and players are the other two-thirds):
Top 5: Brandon Marshall, Reggie Wayne, Moss, Andre Johnson, Hines Ward
Top 5: LeRon McClain, Tony Richardson, Ahmard Hall, Carey Davis, Evans
Top 5: Alan Faneca, Eugene Amano, Jake Scott, Chris Kemoeatu, Mankins
Top 5: Jake Long, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Light, Joe Thomas, Michael Roos
Top 5: Ray Lewis, James Farrior, Larry Foote, Bruschi, Mayo
Top 5: Anthony Madison, Brendon Ayanbadejo, Izzo, Patrick Cobbs, Donnie Nickey

Matt Light a Pro Ball player hahaha
Tedy Bruschi being 4th is a crime against the world. He has not been a good NFL Middle LB for 3 years.
The fan voting thing is useless! I mean, I'm all for getting the fans involved, but it just becomes a popularity contest. In soccer, FIFA decided to let the fans vote on the best player ever - Maradonna won in a landslide. Unhappy with letting a washed out drug user earn the award, and genuinely unhappy that Pele wasn't going to win, they had to create another award - the "real" player of the century.
Davo
Mayo and maybe Izzo are the only deserving ones on there.
PRO BOWL - your talkin PRO BOWL are you kidding me PRO BOWL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~>
There should not even be a pro bowl. Most of the better players don't want to go and risk injury, the game is boring, the rules are designed for girl scouts not football players, and its more a popularity contest than real deserving players getting the votes.
I am sure that if I rookie gets selected it is a good thing for him, but never forget Robert Edwards and what happened to him. IMO, it's just not worth the risk.
This is a joke, right? Bruschi and Mankins in the top 5? Give me a break...
