Posted by Christopher L. Gasper, Globe Staff December 4, 2008 01:19 PM

FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are holding their afternoon practice on the upper fields behind Gillette Stadium, as they continue preparations for Sunday's game on the road against the Seattle Seahawks.

For the second straight day this week, defensive end Ty Warren (groin) was not present for the media portion of practice. Warren was among the five Patriots players not spotted:

DE Ty Warren (groin)
LB Pierre Woods (jaw)
LB Vince Redd (ankle)
WR Kelley Washington (thigh)
LB Adalius Thomas (broken right forearm)

The Patriots were in shells (light shoulder pads) and shorts or sweatpants. Media members were present for stretching and the start of positional drills.

  1. It is kind of funny that Pierre Wood is missing practice with a jaw injury. You figure an injury in that area could be played with.

But it must be serious and I am sure this is part of they reason they went out and got Colvin.

  1. Dear Tony,

Clearly you were in the band and could play the flute with your jaw wired.
