FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are holding their afternoon practice in Gillette Stadium as they begin preparations to face the Bills, and the following players weren't spotted during the media-access portion of the session:

  • DL Richard Seymour
  • LB Tedy Bruschi
  • S James Sanders
  • S Ray Ventrone

Players wearing black jerseys as the practice players of the week included WR Kelley Washington, LB Larry Izzo, C/G Dan Connolly, C/G Billy Yates, WR Sam Aiken and practice squad LB Darrell Robertson.

Players wore shorts/sweatpants and shells (light shoulder pads). Media members were present for stretching and one warmup drill.

    1. The NFL must have made Seymour sit out in an effort to hurt the Cheatriots. Where's the e-mail for the league office. I have to e-mail them and tell them how upset I am that they personally made Seymour miss practice. I wouldn't be surprised if they sent someone to Seymour's house and held him hostage.

I'm going to ignore the fact that the Cheatriots got Arizona scheduled in New England in the middle of December while the Jets and Dolphins got their one dimensional passing attack in perfect weather. I'm going to ignore all of the ridiculous calls that the Cheatriots get during games (like the phantom hold on AZ that negated a 1st down while it was still a game. I'm going to ignore the slap on the wrist for spygate. The league is out to get our Cheatriots. I can't believe they did this to Seymour.

    1. I'm going to ignore Mike because he's clearly a buffoon.

    1. Not only did the Patriots have the easiest schedule this year but
they get all the referee calls. Bob Kraft has the league in his pocket
      and gets whatever he wants.
I hope the Patriots win then the Jets lose on purpose (Mangini's Revenge).
This would be justice to see Belicheat and the puppet master go home
      for the holidays

    1. Mike, did you read your comments before you allowed it to be posted publically ??? Perhaps you were coming from the office Christmas party after spending too much of your time at the bar??? The only thing that was truthful in your entire rant was "I'm going to ignore the fact[s]" The final score was 47-7 and, from the opening kickoff, it was clear that the Cardinals were NEVER in the game. The only time that Arizona showed any life was when they sprinted to the lockeroom after the game to get out of the cold. Next you'll claim that Bob Kraft was responsible for the weather conditions. In the spirit of the season, Mike was charitable in referring to you as a buffoon, although I must admit that your post was funny - even if it made absolutely no sense!

    1. I guess it doesn't matter to Mike that the Bill and Patriots got the harshest punishment that the NFL has ever dished out. Or that his beloved Jets, who were in all likelyhood doing the same thing, "blew the whistle" on the Patriots in the most unsportsmanlike way imaginable.
But, for one week only, go Jets! (Gosh, I think I need therapy now)

    1. Mike, the Jets wont mail it in because of two reasons:

      1. Even if NE wins, the Jets play the same time as the Ravens, and if they win and the Ravens lose, the Jets are in the playoffs.
      2. Mangini is probably playing for his job.

      So go get a life!
