Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff December 26, 2008 12:20 PM

FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are holding their afternoon practice inside Gillette Stadium (noon), marking the third straight day the club has worked outside in preparation for Sunday's game against the Bills.

DE Richard Seymour was not present for the media-access portion of today's practice, marking the third straight session in which Seymour has not been at the start of practice. Seymour, who hurt his back in Sunday's win over the Cardinals, did not participate in Tuesday's practice or Wednesday's practice.

The Patriots are scheduled to release their injury report by 4 p.m.

Other players not spotted at the media-access portion of today's practice include:

  • LB Tedy Bruschi (knee)
  • C/G Billy Yates (hand)
  • S Ray Ventrone (jaw)

Media members were present for stretching and one special teams drill. Players were in sweatpants and shells (light shoulder pads).
