Seau on the wind

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff December 28, 2008 04:40 PM

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Linebacker Junior Seau had this to say about playing in the windy conditions today:

"There was one time when I was running, and there was a gust of wind that was behind me, and I felt like [Gary] Guyton and [Jerod] Mayo. I picked up more speed than I could handle. So, I felt young. It was really fun."

  1. Junior Seau is a classic! He has played well filling in during the last four games. Pretty amazing to think of his age and that he was on a surf board a month ago. He's a freak athlete for any age. In Bill we trust.

  1. It's awful hard to think that he may not be back. I think he still may have one more season in his tank.
