  1. Thanks Mike.
Defensively, this year reeks of the 9-7 02 season.

  1. Well this just makes this team look pretty average, doesn't it....

  1. Mike, in years past you used to also list the previous week's statistical ranks in parenthesis, so we could see if the Pats are improving or slipping in that category. Could you please do that again? I think it will help the fans see if the team is getting better or worse in the different areas of the game. Thanks!

  1. Hey Rondo,

Average would be 16th in all categories since there are 32 teams in the NFL. High 20's ratings on defense is abysmal!!!!! If it wasn't for Cassel, Moss, Welker, rushing by committee and the O-line, this year would have made 2002 look like a banner year. The defense has been a joke. Deltha O'Neal should be ashameed to cash his checks. Don't look for "Rosie off the Couch" to change things either.

  1. DRASTIC changes need to be made next year to help our D. I'm talking firing, hiring, drafting, signings...homeland defense is long long gone. our d is weak, especially 3rd downs and red zone.

  1. Hi Ahmed. I'll do that starting next week. Until then, here is last week's stat check for a comparison.

  1. The offense isn’t really lighting it up either. 18th in Points scored and 23rd in Red-zone. I think they were 1st or 2nd in almost every offense category last year, and the only real change there is Cassel.
