Welker at practice; Warren is not
FOXBOROUGH – The Patriots are holding their afternoon practice on the upper fields behind Gillette Stadium (12:55 p.m.) and receiver Wes Welker was present for the media-access portion of the session.
Welker had been knocked out of Sunday’s loss to the Steelers after absorbing a hit from safety Ryan Clark.
Players not present for the media-access portion of the practice included:
Players wore shells (light shoulder pads) and sweatpants and media members were present for stretching and positional drills.

We need Ty Warren badly.
The Jets and Steelers ran roughshed and through where Ty Warren would have been lined up.
Wright is a nice, versatile fill - in. I think he is more suited for the DT position.
Mike - do we know anything yet about the nature of Pierre Woods' mouth injury yet? Are we talking a few lost or chipped teeth, or could it be something as serious as a fractured cheekbone or broken jaw?
so according to this, Lamont Jordon will be ready to go this week! I'll believe it when I see it!
Good Call DC,
Is Lamont ready to return ? He is surely well - rested !
The last time he played was on the West Coast in San Francisco !
i hope welker is ok, that hit against the steelers was horrible and totally uncalled for.
Why aren't they playing Green-Ellis? He seems to be their best back this year. He has sure scored more then the rest.
We do need Ty Warren back but I believe this game vs the Seahawks is one where we can afford to sit him out due to the lack of power running game by the Seahawks. The Jets and Steelers are both great running teams this season that clearly took advantage of those opportunities but vs the Dolphins things closed back up again when Warren returned. So yes he is very important but no need to rush him back this week.

Huge pats fan and as much as I love Wes welker, I can see why no fine was given. Clark put his head down for barely half a second to initiate the hit and didn't see the ball tipped away in that half second. He was trying to make a play and everyone knows how sure-handed Wes is when he gets a piece of it.
Wes Welker is the man!!!
"A lot of people think it's a foul to leave your feet," NFL vice president of officiating Mike Pereira told Borges. "Launching is not a foul. There is nothing in the rulebook that states that at all. It's a misconception people have.
football is tough game ---Pats fans crying over the Wes Welker hit have short memories considering Harrisons' actions over the years. Don't forget Wilfork dirty hits. Grow up and stop crying
did the nfl suspend and fine that cheap shot nothing ryan clark for the hit on welker
