Ivy League honor for Robert Kraft

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff January 23, 2009 05:30 AM

Patriots chairman/CEO Robert Kraft was one of eight honorees Thursday night at the Ivy Football Association dinner.

The dinner, held every other year, honors one former player from each Ivy League school for their "service to their various communities, professions, charitable causes, and to their alma maters."

ESPN's Chris Berman (Brown) introduced Kraft (Columbia) at the black-tie event, which was held at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City.

Former U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld (Princeton) was one of the eight honorees along with Kraft.
