Today's playoff games -- Falcons at Cardinals and Colts at Chargers -- will include some familiar faces for Patriots fans.
A look at some ex-Patriots, and their contributions with their new team, playing in today's games:
Atlanta
Lawyer Milloy -- Safety played in 112 games with 106 starts for New England from 1996-2002. He's a starter for the Falcons.
Marcus Pollard -- Veteran tight end was with the Patriots in 2008 training camp, but was released before the season began. He's played in one game but has not registered a catch.
Jason Rader -- A tight end, he spent time on the practice squad in 2007 and was briefly on the active roster, although never appeared in a game. He has one catch this season.
Chris Redman -- Quarterback spent four months with the Patriots in the offseason program leading into the 2005 season, but was released two months before training camp began. He's now Atlanta's No. 2 quarterback.
Arizona
Monty Beisel-- Linebacker played in 15 games (6 starts) with the Patriots in 2005, but the match wasn't a fit and he was cut before the 2006 season. He's primarily a special teams player for Arizona.
Victor Hobson -- Linebacker was with the Patriots in 2008 training camp but was released before the season began. He was a late-season signing by Arizona and has appeared in one game.
Sean Morey -- The NFC's Pro Bowl special teams player this season, Morey appeared in two games for the Patriots in 1999.
Pat Ross -- Backup center from Boston College spent time on the Patriots' practice squad in 2007, but never appeared in a game. He has not played for the Cardinals this season.
Stephen Spach -- Tight end signed late and played in three games for the Patriots in 2007, and was on the roster for the first two games of the 2008 season before he was released. He's played in nine games (6 starts) for the Cardinals, has contributed as a blocker, and has totaled two receptions.
Indianapolis
Adam Vinatieri -- Kicker solidified his reputation as Mr. Clutch with the Patriots from 1996-2005. He's converted 20 of 25 field goals this season, with a long of 52.

I guess when your team chokes, this is the how New Englanders try to STAY in the playoffs.... "Hey! See? Lookie how many of our guys are in it playing for others!" Sooooooo lame.
Hi Mike,
I could be mistaken, but haven't the Eagles made it to the Playoffs? Since we let go of Asante Samuels, I'm wondering what he has done with them this year.
Thanks,
Leslie
Hi Leslie. I was planning to do the same for tomorrow's games -- Miami/Baltimore and Minnesota/Philadelphia. Asante Samuel will be part of that update.

@Nfl Fan--
You're post is so obviously flame bait, I'm not sure why I should bother replying....but.. "I guess when your team chokes"?
The Pats ran the table and finished December without a loss going from 7-5 to 11-5. How is that "choking"?
Maybe you're referring to Denver, which blew a 3 game lead with 3 games left? Or maybe the Jets, who had a commanding 8-3 record, only to finish the season 1-4. Maybe you're thinking about Favre forgettable performance on the last game of the season?
Please, do a little research before posting; Trust me. It'll make you look less stupid next time
some good nuggets here Mike. how many were off the top of your head?
NFL fan,
The Pats are the winninest team this decade, including 3 SB championships so any team you're a fan of can't compare. I also don't believe the Pats "choked" this year, 11-5 with the best player in the NFL on the sidelines including a host of other injuries (a team record 14 players to IR) is a great accomplishment. You know what's really lame, trolling other team's web pages and posting derogatory comments about those teams.
Hey NFL Fan,
We couldn't be any lamer than a non-New England fan who takes the time to read our blogs just to leave a nasty-gram. How about getting a life and supporting your own Team and leave us to ours.
Thanks,
Leslie
P.S. Mike,
Thanks for getting back to me.
NFL Fan, how the heck did the Patriots choke? They went 11-5, won their last 4 games, and had a great season w/o Tom Brady. What a lame hater.
Nfl fan,
Is this what you do when your team doesn't make the playoffs? Or, even worse, is this what you do when your team does make the playoffs?
Mike
Did you catch Rodney Harrison as a sideline reported on NFL Network? Rodney supposedly hinted that he would not be retiring and that he is a "free agent". I did not see the report, but heard about it. Would you be able to find some more details about it? I love Rodney and it would be a shame to see him wear a different uniform. I do understand that he has not been able to stay healthy so it may affect the way the front office views him moving forward.
Thanks
Will
Just a few off the top of my head. Needed to check all the rosters, jimmybillbob. Will, I did not see the report, but it sounds as if Harrison was asked his intentions and he said he was a free agent. Sounds like he'll rehab and see where he is at before deciding what to do. He probably wouldn't be able to pass a physical for a few more months, so there is no need to determine anything at this time.

Milloy looked as slow and confused as I remember on the first Cardinal TD pass. Spach looked great on the clinching catch on the final drive of the game. Watson would have dropped it.
NFL Fan,
When did the Pats choke this season? I don't know about every other Pats fan but I'm damn proud of the 2008 Pats team. The team loses Brady, ADT, Harrison, Bruschi, Maroney, and countless others and STILL made it to 11-5. They never gave up this season and shut down all the media crap. To say the Pats choked is bull. If you were a real fan of the NFL you would have noticed that.
NFL Fan,
Give me a break. You clearly don't understand anything about football, and you probably don't have any friends either.
So, please... Grow up, get a clue, get a life, and quit posting stupid garbage about the 11-5 Patriots and their fans. Talk about being lame...
I guess when you have no class, you forget to capitalize the F and L in NFLfan.
