  1. Horrible! Why, because he didnt go 19-0? Let's hope Giselle allows Brady to play after last season's injury. No loyalty ...

  1. We are definitely at the crossroads of where this organization is going to headed for the next few years. While the Cassel trade worked out in the end (franchising him at least got the Patriots something in return rather than letting him go for nothing as a free agent), the Vrabel trade is still a bitter pill to swallow, regardless of what he had left to give out on the field. The older veterans, of which there are quite a few, might start to question their own loyalty to the "program" when they know that even a unquestioned leader can get shipped off anywhere to make room for someone else. Hopefully the management of the Patriots hasn't lost the heads of the players that remain and the utlimate goal is still what's most important to everyone involved.

  1. Matt, thanks for a great year and good luck in KC! You turned a skeptic into a fan and made 2008 an exciting season. We'll be rooting for you.

  1. The Kansas City Patriots are gonna be a fun team to root for. Pioli, Vrabel, Cassel? What the hell is going on?

  1. For all those that thought our 3 time superbowl winner, 2 time superbowl MVP and 1 time season MVP with the NFL TD record, whose salary is somewhere like 5 MIL was going to be traded before a HS QB who had 1 good season with a salary of 14.6 mil , you are all idiots.

  1. That is good Cassel proved that he is a starter. Now he can make some serious money.I am sorry to see Vrabel go, but maybe its best for him and the team ,he is a great team player.

  1. Just what the Chiefs need.
A one year wonder and a washed up linebacker

  1. Winning with the Patriots and winning with the Chiefs are two totally different things. Belichick knows he just got rid of the second coming of Scott Mitchell.
