Wright deal confirmed

A source with knowledge of the Patriots thinking has confirmed that defensive lineman Mike Wright and the team have reached agreement on a four-year deal for about $7.5 million, as was first reported by John Clayton of ESPN.

  1. Mike Wright was a beast towards the tail end of last seaon coming up right down the middle and applying a lot of pressure on opposing QBs. I think he matured a lot since 2007 and seems like a smarter player now in addition to his athletic talent. I think he is now ahead of Jarvis green and Not far behind warren who also had an off yer like green.
