Who had the most dropped passes among Patriots receivers last season?
It's a question that ESPN.com AFC East blogger Tim Graham examines in a post today.
Dropped passes aren't an official stat, but Elias Sports Bureau tracks them. Elias uses a common-sense analysis of "should the receiver have caught the ball." If there's any doubt among Elias analysts, the player isn't charged with a drop.
Randy Moss led the Patriots with the most drops (7) last season.
Graham also came up with a drop percentage by looking at the total number of drops against the total catches by each player. Tight end Benjamin Watson had the highest drop percentage (4 drops in 22 catches) on the team.
