  1. What does this mean for Vince Wilfork? Is this why they haven't given him a new contract yet?

  1. I'm a bit surprised that they moved up to get this pick. Did they really anticipate Brace being gone by 15?

  1. I like it... I always like D-line picks.

Chung, Brace and Butler all seem like good team guys; which is why the Pats valued them over someone like Maualuga.

  1. Make it official. Wilfork won't be able to be resigned now and LeKevin Smith will not make the 53 man roster with this pick......New England say hello to your future NT.

  1. This one surprised me more than the two other selections. Though Chung was maybe taken earlier than I would have guessed, it was a name "associated" with the Pats.

It must just be a case of best player available for their system. More interestingly, where does the next pick (57) go ? White is still available as of 8:29...

  1. Your all caught up in the hype. Do you really think Mel Kiper and Todd McShay know more about a passrushing OLB than Belichek. Belichek pratically invented the position. I think he knows whose good and whose not. BB passed on some of these guys everyone is crying for 2 and 3 times. Tells me these guys can't play.

Have you all forgotten about Gary Guyton. The guy can play. He practically tookover for Bruschi by the end of the year...as a rookie to boot. Malaugua is a retard and thats why the Pats passed on him 4 times.

  1. Riceinthehall, BB has wiffed on plenty of picks. You're saying that none of the OLB prospects available could beat out Pierre Woods and Banta Cain? Thats just ignorant
