YES!!!
Love that pick!
Woot! Good pick!
I go to Uconn. Pats just got a really solid football player. Wo should have immediate impact on special teams, and could be #1 corner a year or two down the road. he is a freak athlete.
Ellis Hobbs.....SEE YA!
Move over UCONN hoops...
Great pick. If not the best corner in this draft he's right at the top of the list. What is it with some people. Prior to the draft everyone was crying for a cornerback and now people are questioning this pick? for real? I love Chung too. The guy is is all over the field. We needed youth and speed in the defensive backfield and we got it. Brace pick was unexpected, but BB passed on all these highly regarded LB's 2,3,4 times in some cases. They can't be that good if BB is passing on them with this many choices.
Goodbye Hobbs!!!!!!!
I'm sorry Ellis. What I meant to say was, your services are no longer needed here in New England. Try the AFL
Great pick. There IS a plan and in Bill We Trust. Remember we still have 3 picks in the next round, and 7 after that, and if BB has proven anything in past drafts it is that he can pick impact players in the later rounds (anyone remember an awkward kid named Tom Brady that nobody wanted to pick before we grabbed him in the 6th round at #199?) To the doubters and the armchair "experts" who believe that negativity = smarts: have you been paying attention to the parades from N.E. Super Bowl winners the last decade? Have faith, as a great coach says: "It is what it is."
A first rounder in the second round, superb pick! Asante who?
Given that most mock drafts had us selecting Butler at #23, grabbing him at #41 is very good business indeed.
