Wilfork on Comcast
Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork, who is a regular guest on Comcast Sportsnet New England, held an online chat on the station's Web site Tuesday and also was an in-studio guest.
Wilfork's chat can be recapped here -- he was asked early about his contract and chatted briefly about letting the contract "play its course"-- and his studio appearance with Gary Tanguay and Michael Felger can be seen here.
In his online chat, Wilfork called Nick Mangold (Jets) the toughest center he faces. At the Super Bowl, Mangold had similar comments about Wilfork.
Tuesday's appearance helped Wilfork promote his annual NFL Draft fundraiser, which raises money for a cause close to him -- diabetes research.

I just don't understand, why Hearld hate patriots soo much. I think Bob Kraft made a mistake, he should have sue them. Peole like Idiot Tanguay and Felger will ran Wilfork out of town someday. Contract details between Patriots and Wilfork, but they keep bringing it up.. now they mention about Albert money.. frecking moroon.. idot...
Pawan, can you re-post but in English? Thanks.
Mike,
If the NFL plays in an uncapped year, does that mean Wilfork will go from a 5 yr original rookie contract to a 6th year without hitting free agency? Is that why they aren't signing him?
Pawan, can you re-post but in English? Thanks.
Felger, Calahan and Dennis, 3 people that do not deserve jobs, period. Can't watch or listen to these people anymore. Who are the morans that keep these idiots on the air.
Its not entertaining with any of these. all they do is krank out the same rhetoric and win arguments based on who has the loadest voice.
Pawan.....you kick my dog!
The Pats will not let Wilfork go.
Wilfork Rocks! I remember earlier in the year that all he said was that he wanted the talks to start. That has been done and it seems he is satisfied to let it run it's course. I have no idea what a possible uncapped year will mean for him or the Patriots. It could be that both parties will be better off and that the Patriots can give him the money he wishes. He plays with heart and soul and he's no idiot. I still remember that one game that he picked up the football and was chugging down the field (all 350 pounds of him!), too funny!
