Media madness

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff May 28, 2009 02:45 PM

The Patriots issued 96 media credentials for today's organized team activity, according to Stacey James, the team's Vice President of Media Relations.

Among the national media outlets represented were the Washington Post, New York Times, ESPN.com, Foxsports.com and CBSSports.com. ESPN and the NFL Network also had reporters and camera crews on site, with five New England-area stations broadcasting live as part of their noon broadcasts.

The media crowd reflects the wide-ranging interest of Tom Brady's return to practice.

  1. My hopes and prayers are that Peter King falls in love with another QB. It's doubtful because he just moved here but to have him blathering over Brady the next few years would be too much.

Mike, can you let Mr. King know Brady already has a proctologist? Thanks.

  1. This is good information. For the first time I turned on ESPN today and Brady was all in the news. Same with NFL Network. Much better then the usual Favre talk.
