Saturday schedule

The following is the schedule for Day 2 of Patriots rookie minicamp:

  • 10:15 a.m. -- Morning practice (closed to the public)
  • 11:15 a.m. -- Player interviews with media
  • Noon -- Bill Belichick press conference
  • 2:30 p.m. -- Afternoon practice (closed to the public)

    The plan will be to pass along some observations after the first practice and interviews, around 1 p.m.

    In today's Boston Globe, colleague Christopher L. Gasper writes on rookie cornerback Darius Butler and in his notebook leads off with rookie receiver Brandon Tate.
