Mike, will the Patriots definately wear white during the game in Miami, or is that just assumed because it's a road game? Miami usually opts to wear white at home due to the heat and sun, so unless the NFL disallows that option during throwback week, the Patriots may end up wearing their red jerseys in Miami. Playing down there on December 6 would seem to remove some of the heat factor as well.

Hi Mike just wondering if you will get a chance to watch any of the mini camp this week. If you do could you see if any of the rookies are mixed in with the starters and how they do? thanks Mike. keep the patriots news coming.I check in 3 or 4 times a day at least.

Are the throwbacks really and full replicas of the 1963 uniforms? I ask because the Pat Patriot on the helmets of the throwbacks looks like the late 60s onward Pat Patriot and not the Pat Patriot of 1963.

The Pat Patriot logo from 1963 was noticeably different than the one most people are familiar with. See:

Those old Pat Patriot uniforms are indelibly associated in mind with the futility, incompetence, ineptness and failure of the Patriots for most of the period they were worn. I couldn't care if I never saw them ever again

I don't know why they didn't keep the red jerseys with the new logo. Now THAT would be cool. The lighter blues they first had when they switched logos were cool too, but these new navy blues are too common and boring. Love to see an alternate third jersey in red instead of boring silver!

Mike: One of the things that I would like to see, and I even wrote he NFL about it is to see the officials for the games wearing the orange striped jeresys for the throwback games.

The one thing they cant do for these games is move the goal posts back onto the goal lines. Those were the good old days when players would bounce into those goal posts.

I was at all of those games in the beginning at the old Braves Field, sitting in the end zone for $2.50 a ticket. I could wlrite a book about some of the great old stories from those days.

Yeah. On TV the "silver" jerseys look like dirty white uniforms that didn't get bleached enough the last time they were washed.
