    1. I like the idea of Brady taking a $2-3m/year contract. If the team has another resurgence in SB titles, his endorsement money will be astronomical, so it wouldnt be such a bad business decision either.

    1. Maroney is still a big question mark...I want to like him & believe in him the way I did durring the first season....I'm curious to know if you think he should be used differently, lined up on the outside like Reggie Bush where he has space to work with....maroney's success seems to be running outside & not up the middle....any thoughts on this obsevation???

    1. Gick,
I'm sure you would take less money as well... You morons are so funny.

    1. Well #9, to be fair, it does go against the strong sense of self-preservation that we have as human beings. Money = financial security and the ability to spend your time how you want to. I've, personally, never been in a situation where I had absolutely no concerns whatsoever with regards to money....at least once I hit the age of 10 or so. I'd be willing to bet you're the same way. Brady isn't in the same situation. The guy was rich already and just married a woman who was like 5x as rich as he was. He doesn't have to worry about money for the rest of his life. Now, if I were running the Pats, I would certainly never go and ASK Brady to take some pathetic contract...but if I was him, and I had no concerns about money, well I honestly have no idea how I'd react. I've never been in that situation.

    1. My argument isn't that he should take less money to be nice, it's that taking less money will allow the team to sign more good players which could equal more super bowl titles, which will earn Brady loads of money in endorsements.

Just think if they could win 3 more titles. Brady would be the best ever and could earn huge money on ads and appearances for the rest of his life.

    1. It isn't worth expounding upon for the insignificant human who refers to himself as #9.

    1. Brady is already making far less than he could.

It's silly to compare him to the contracts of either Manning, Roethlesburger, Rivers, Warner or any other top tier QB. Brady is clearly better than any of them with the possible exception of Peyton Manning, and he makes I believe about $3-4M less.
