Pro Bowl is before the SuperBowl this year ??? wtf ... If any of the ProBowlers happen to be on Super Bowl teams, we will not see them in Hawaii.
Pro Bowl is the week prior to Super Bowl. Am I correct this is a change?
The Pro Bowl is in Miami this year, so is the Super Bowl. But if there is one Super Bowl player that accepts the invite to the Pro Bowl, I'll be shocked.
Ron, Yes this is a change, and hopefully it's a one year deal.
i believe the pro bowl is in miami this year, the same as the super bowl. i think i read that they are trying it out as part of super bowl week and that this could be the way it will be in the future
This has to be the stupidest move ever attempted by the NFL!
Any player from either of the Superbowl teams that shows up to play in the Pro-Bowl, will most likely be kicked right in the balls by their Coach.
I saw BB buying a pair of steel-toe work boots the other day, just for this reason...
For those of you who believe that a Super Bowl bound player would, if elected, actually play in the Pro Bowl the week prior have not only been kicked in the head a few too many times but also deserve to get clown punched! Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son.
Is it just me or has Goodell's reign been strife with stupid decision after decision? He is trying so hard to make changes and never seems to put any intelligent thought behind them. He wanted to be a strong disciplinarian, but came out too hard and as such he has had to back off. He was way too hard on simple infractions, and this gave him nowhere to go, which led to inconsistency. He sent games overseas, but what does this accomplish? Just more money for the NFL (which isn't exactly poor) at the expense of local fans. He wants to expand the season, which really isn't a very good or popular idea, and showed his ignorance by saying that preseason games and regular season games are essentially the same.
He needs to stop concentrating on his legacy and start thinking about what is best for this game, or he his legacy will be the George Bush of football.
