Rookies & agents

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff June 25, 2009 05:00 AM

The following chart shows each Patriots draft pick, the player's agent, a quick fact on the agent to go with any past dealings with New England, and then an open space for the contract terms.

Preliminary discussions have taken place with several players regarding contracts, and that process is expected to continue into July. Information is based on the latest paperwork filed with the NFL Players Association.

  1. I can't figure out how difficult it is for the Patriots to come to terms
with their 6th and 7th round picks. By this time they are bracketed by
other picks. Even a layperson could determine what these players will
    receive.

  1. One interesting note is that no Pats player has been drafted, since the Ben Watson debacle, when they are represented by CAA (Tom Condon)
