Time to tee it up

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff June 8, 2009 06:30 AM

The Patriots are holding their annual Charitable Foundation golf tournament today at The International in Bolton, Mass, an event that most players have attended in past years.

Players are scheduled to begin arriving at the course at 10 a.m., and in past years, the Patriots have roped off an area for media members that select players visit for interviews.

One question this year: Who will provide some flavor and trash talk now that Rodney Harrison is officially retired?

Harrison was the Patriots' long-drive champion in 2006 and 2008, and he had plenty to say about it at the time. Harrison topped punter Chris Hanson in the finals last year.

The plan from here will be to post some updates from the course.

  1. Mike, can fans stop by the course to check out the play?
