Training camp: July 30

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff June 12, 2009 04:20 PM

In a day that has similar anticipation to when the Red Sox load up the trucks to head to spring training, the Patriots have announced today that they will open 2009 training camp on July 30.

Training camp practices are open to the public.

  1. pls use randy moss as an in- motion wide reciever starting toward the middle and then doing his thing with quick changes of speed and directions! this is the third year of not using his inherently formidable skills! pls get with it! He is then unstoppable !!!

  1. I don't think you need tickets--it is free....but be prepared to wait in linesss...
It is a great family day--we did it for the first time last year on a whim with the kids.
$20 spent in all. That was for 4 people to get a drink, a small snack and 3 very cool autographs (those were free).

  1. Training camp is by far my favorite part of summer. I've been going ever since I was a little kid. The past 2 years I made it to every single session. I love it. If you have never gone....GO! It's free. It can get very hot out there though so prepare yourselves. The guys are great. You can get some great autographs and you get to see the players up close. It's cool.
