Training camp: July 30
In a day that has similar anticipation to when the Red Sox load up the trucks to head to spring training, the Patriots have announced today that they will open 2009 training camp on July 30.
Training camp practices are open to the public.

YEAH!!!!!!!!!
Pats football just can't come soon enough!
Looking forward to a few trips tp open practice.
Camp is great but those metal bleachers are killer in the heat
pls use randy moss as an in- motion wide reciever starting toward the middle and then doing his thing with quick changes of speed and directions! this is the third year of not using his inherently formidable skills! pls get with it! He is then unstoppable !!!
friday is the 31st of july
Yes, and July 30th is on a Thursday this year. What is your point?
Pats Win! :)
CANNOT WAIT!! Already lining up road trips to DC and DEN to see our boys on the road.
Clem...for the heat to be an issue, it has to actually get warm, this weather is slowing killing me. haha.
jimmiec......so what
Where can I get the schedules for public viewing/access to the training camp??? Can't wait to go and watch the Pats!!
Bob - schedules and times won't be up til camp opens. And even then, they only release the info a few days at a time.
do we need tickets to go see them practice at camp? is it free?
Ya, do u need tickets or anything, or can you just show up
I don't think you need tickets--it is free....but be prepared to wait in linesss...
It is a great family day--we did it for the first time last year on a whim with the kids.
$20 spent in all. That was for 4 people to get a drink, a small snack and 3 very cool autographs (those were free).
Training camp is by far my favorite part of summer. I've been going ever since I was a little kid. The past 2 years I made it to every single session. I love it. If you have never gone....GO! It's free. It can get very hot out there though so prepare yourselves. The guys are great. You can get some great autographs and you get to see the players up close. It's cool.
