Audio: Belichick on Vick

Posted by Chris Forsberg, Boston.com Staff July 30, 2009 02:55 PM

Patriots coach Bill Belichick fielded a question on Michael Vick this morning and offered a positive analysis of the player. Check out the audio below:

"Michael's an outstanding player; hasn't played in a couple of years," said Belichick. "But right now our focus in on our team, our players, and trying to get the New England Patriots ready. So that's really my concern. He's a tremendous athlete, where exactly he is right now, I don't know."

  1. Translation: "It's what I say about every player when the press asks me about someone I'm not interested in. My words will never be motivational material for an opposing team or player."
