I would think that the parameters for signing Brace could be derived from the Butler
signing. Also, the agency for Bussey is the same as for Pryor which should help the negotiations. Any word if any other signings are imminent?
Mike nothing to do with this post but what is your thoughts of the NFL story of the year the Air Mcnair murder suicide while you were off the clock the last 2 weeks. I read the Tennesean site daily durring the last 2 weeks and they made NcNair a football legend there yet didn't the Titans organization lock him out the last year of his contract there? What was the reason they did that to him ? My only recolection of him playing the Pats was either a missed or errent pass to either Mason or Bennett that stopped a drive at the end of the freezing playoff game at Foxboro . After they lost the game the Titans cried like babies that the lesser team won that Arctic night. I read Tom sent his condolances to his family but no other Pats responses beside Floyd Reeses statement.
I am looking forward to seeing Patrick Chung play. I know its hard to get on the field there rookie season especially in a 3-4 defense . I believe Butler will see playing time on dime situations and will be there starter in 2010.
Hey Mike, any chance that in the Contracts column you can announce the total value of the deals signed? It'd be nice to see the difference between a 4-year second round deal vs. a fourth round deal.
Hi Jim. Other signings are close. Things seem to be picking up. ...Jess, I think that's a great idea. I'm going to wait until the contracts are officially filed because sometimes the numbers initially reported are inflated.
